Only your grandparents, or old folks age 65 & above will know what apparatus this is. It is a street peddler’s mobile drinks & tobacco stall cabinet/counter from the bygone era dating 1800s to early 1900s. Last seen locally in 1960s. This piece was handed down over 4 generations, since 1930s.

The uniquely hexagon shaped showcase’s age is way beyond 80 years. Constructed of mainly brass, with wooden base. Was used to contain tobacco, cigarettes, serving mug, & metal drinking mugs for customers. There is even a hidden cash compartment right at the bottom. The entire showcase is covered with some oxidation spots due to its age. One window’s glass require replacement by the new owner.
