Commissioning Engineers Required! - Singapore

We are looking for Commissioning Engineers for our client in Singapore

The role involves the provision of on-site engineering support and training on company industrial process heating equipment to wide range of International customers.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Perform site services world wide at onshore & offshore facilities to support the installation/commissioning/start up/operation and maintenance of the entire range of  heating and control products
• Carry out, alone or in conjunction with client personnel, pre-commissioning/commissioning in accordance with supplied contract documentation
• Assist with client start up operations on site
• Carry out on site investigation of reported faults/operating problems
• Completion of rectification activities (repair/replacement of components)
• Completion of on site reports
• Fault finding on thyristor, contactor type control panels, and associated instrumentation
• Knowledge of hazardous area working environments and working in accordance with work permits
• Competent to carry out client modifications to control systems as required and check for circuit integrity
• Carry out in house testing of completed in house systems and conduct customer witness tests.
• Provide Telephone Technical Support
• To provide familiarisation and customer training on company's Equipment
• Organisation and planning of work and future visits.
• Promotion of site services.
* Training will be provided in the U.K

Requirements:-
Minimum of diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years in field service job
2. Independent and mature
3. Resourceful with good problem solving skills
4. Site allowance will be provided
5. Willing to travel at short notice
6. Knowledge in electrical switchboard, control circuit (PLC & Relay logic), PID, field
7. Instrumentation and hazardous equipment classifications
8. Singaporean or PR
9. At least 2 years working experience in oil and gas industries (preferable field service/support)
10. Bilingual with Mandarin preferred
