Ad details

Dutch photographer Sash Alexander is working on a study of the Eurasian face and is looking for people of Asian-Caucasian heritage (10 years and above) to participate.

The aim is to document the diversity of Asian-Caucasian mixes in today’s globalised world. Sash’s own Malaysian-Dutch daughter was the spark of inspiration behind this project.

Each person will be photographed in their natural beauty without the need for make up or retouching. The shoot will take place at Sash’s studio in Chinatown, and will only require 20 minutes per person. All talent will receive a high-resolution image of their own portrait for personal use and a credit mention if selected.

The final result will see a selection of 125 faces of different ages and ancestry, featured alongside local celebrities like Denise Keller from MTV Asia. The images will be published in a hard cover collectable coffee table book.

Ugly Duckling Projects (www.uglyD.com) is helping to spread the word for the project.
