One year contract
The eligible Candidate will support Corporate services section in all aspects of finance and administrative matters.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Handle the day-to-day accounting function such as checking the accuracy of grant disbursement request and processing payments in SAP timely.
Assist in financial year closing of accounts like preparation of leadsheets, schedules and reconciliations in compliance with Statutory-Board Financial Reporting Standard.
Provide guidance on operational matters to internal staff and Finance team.
Assist in Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Fixed Assets.
Cover officer for matching of invoice against purchase orders.
Assist in handling internal and external auditors and other government agencies.
Assist in responding to sections’ queries and requests for fund reports and allocation.
Perform other duties assigned by senior officers.
Assist other sections in carrying out their projects.
Participate in WITs and Staff Suggestion Scheme (SSS).
Minimum Diploma or LCCI equivalent, preferably with Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
Minimum 2-3 years experience in accounting/finance related field preferably with proficiency in SAP and working experience in government bodies.
Proficiency in ACE and Gebiz will be an added advantage
