Singapore based hotel has just acquired a hotel / resort in Hokkaido. We need a Financial controller urgently. The requirements are:
  • Degree in accounting with CPA qualification
  • Minimum 8 years financial management experience of which 3 years as Head of Finance of a medium to large organisation
  • Good understanding of Japanese Accounting standards and regulatory compliance
  • Strong interpersonal skills, initiative, and a very positive attitude towards changes.
  • Must be able to read and write English and Japanese
  • Preferably from hotel or hospitality related
The job entails:
  • Responsible for full scope of accounting, finance, purchasing, IT functions.
  • Reporting to Group Finance Director in Head Office in Singapore
  • Management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, tax planning and compliance
  • Improve operational efficiency by evaluating and implementing changes/enhancements to MIS systems
  • Effective purchasing processes and cost control
