Main Duties and Responsibilities
Leads the IT buying and fully supports retail stores ensuring maximum sales and profitability of IT & Digital related merchandise and services for the company.
Ensures a comprehensive range of innovative products is available for sale within the budgeted open-to-buy levels agreed and that terminal/discontinued stock levels achieve targets
Negotiates terms of trading, margins and advertising support and manages the supplier base – relationship in all aspects of terms.
Supports the company’s advertising and marketing activities by negotiating offers to the public reflecting outstanding value. Runs events, roadshows and tradeshows to support company’s marketing, merchandising and credit strategy.
Manages the merchandising forecasting and execute supply chain management practices. Works with Logistics, Warehouse, Branches and Operations to ensure optimum stock availability and maintain healthy stockturn in meeting stock budget.
Ensures implementation and maintenance of range planning in order to ensure profitability.
Specifies visual merchandising policies and strategies for maximum product performance and profitability.
Liaises closely with the Finance Dept and assists where needed with supplier issues.
Maintains awareness of competitors’ movements and ensures that our offer is always competitive via field visits externally and internally.
Leads and develops a positive, progressive, changes orientated team of buying staff in order to ensure innovation in our computer retailing.
Creates awareness within the organisation of existing and future product trends and developments.
Performs any other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Degree holder in computer-related field or business administration.
• Min. 5 years in international retail buying or Marketing at senior management level.
• Good negotiation and analytical skills with acumen for buying.
• Must be able to motivate and lead management staff.
• Meticulous, Customer Focus and Business Savvy.

Working Hours : Mon to Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm (East Area)
Salary range : $2700 - $3500
